Sandra Rebo Obituary

Sandra "Sandy" (Smarsh) Rebo went to be with the Lord after a short illness on Sunday October 22,2023.

Sandy was born in Spangler on October 17,1949 to the late Andrew Thomas and Anna Marie (Yuknavich) Smarsh.

She met Steve Rebo Jr., who she married and had four children with; three sons, Craig (Kimberly) Rebo of San Antonio, TX, Brian (Belinda) Rebo of Japan, Steve (Tabitha) Rebo of East Stroudsburg and daughter Angela (Matthew) Carrier of Philipsburg, Steve preceded her in death on April 15, 2020.

She was a kind and gentle person. She had nothing but love for her children and grandchildren.

Sandy had a fondness for cats, dogs, and all living creatures.  When she wasn't taking care of kittens or her giant dog Kiki, she could be found at any yard sale, flea market or antique store looking for anything old and unique that she could sell in her family based business and online store.

Always staying busy, she'd then head to a family gathering with plenty of BBQ.  Sandy was multitalented.  Her green thumb could be seen every spring in her plethora of beautiful flowers she grew throughout her property.  She was a great pianist, seamstress and even a helper with automotive restorations.  She and her husband enjoyed restoring vehicles over the years, usually while listening to a Pirates game, cheering on "The Bucs".  Her infectious smile and soft demeanor will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Matthew Dylan Carrier, Kylee (Eric) Witmer, Courtney Rebo, Ashby Rebo, Mason, Addison and Mackenzie Rebo.  Along with two brothers; James (Vronica) Smarsh of Saltsburg and Robert (Esther) Smarsh of Irvona.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters Patricia Carter, Mary Jane Nagle, Anna Marie Fyock, Rosemary Smarsh and four brothers William, Andrew, Duane, and Fred Smarsh.

All services will be private.  Interment will be in Alexander Cemetery Madera.
