Marshall Wayne Blake

Marshall Wayne Blake Jr., 83, of Houtzdale, passed away Monday December 14, 2020 at his residence.

Born January 21, 1937 in Westover, he was a son of the late Marshall W. Blake Sr. and Mary (Kitchen) Blake.

Wayne was employed as a truck driver and mechanic for the former Avery Coal Co. and retired from Brink Trucking.

Wayne cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and loved sitting on the porch with his dog named Dollar.  He enjoyed mowing grass and keep a meticulous lawn.

He married the former Ruth Ann Milliron, who preceded him in death on April 25, 1998.

He is survived by his children; Nora (Samuel) Grager of Houtzdale, Terry (Linda) Blake of Sulphur Springs, TX, Bonnie Weakland of Warriors Mark, Pamela (Mike) Dellucia of Curwensville, Kevin (Terry) Blake of Houtzdale and Richard Jones of Clearfield, along with nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers;  Jerry, Leroy (Billie) and Raymond Blake of Westover and a sister Ethel Brink of Irvona.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth Ann, companion Janet Jones, brothers Paul and Earl Blake and a step son Scott Jones.

Due to the continuing COVID 19 pandemic restrictions a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
