Obituary
Margaret (Peggy) Miscavish, 91 of Houtzdale, passed away on November 3, 2021 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
Born on July 22, 1930 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Kathryn (Polinsky) Miscavish.
Peggy was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church, Houtzdale.
She devoted her life to caring for others, especially her siblings. She enjoyed spending time with her family on special occasions and holidays.
Peggy enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking and caring for her flowers.
She will be deeply missed by her nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and a special nephew Scott (Stephanie) Miscavish and a great niece Madisyn, with whom she shared many memories.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Catherine Jordan, Gertrude Albert, Bertha Miscavish, Mary Ann Biancuzzo, Dorothy Thompson and her twin sister Martha (Pat) Miscavish, brothers Lawrence, Joseph, Frank, Thomas Miscavish and half brothers, Raymond, John, and Chester Miscavish. She was the last of her immediate family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale on Monday November 8, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Joseph Czcarkowski as celebrant. Interment will follow in St Lawrence Cemetery, Houtzdale.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Peggy's memory to Christ The King Catholic Church, 123 Good Street, Houtzdale, Pa 16651.
