James Eckberg Obituary

James "Jimmy" Eckberg 65, a guest of Embassy of Hillsdale Park and formerly of Houtzdale passed away Wednesday May 31, 2023.

Born May 8,1958 in Philipsburg, he was a son of the late Rembrandt "Bud" and Patricia (Pearson) Eckberg.

James was Catholic by faith and a graduate of Moshannon Valley High School.

He was employed in the paving and roofing industries.

Surviving is a son Jacob (Casie) Pelucio and two grandchildren Lucas and Nicholas.

James is the last of his Immediate family. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother Dennis Eckberg, and two sisters Patricia Barto and Kathryn OShall.

There will be no visitation or service at this time.

Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Houtzdale.
