Obituary

Elizabeth "Betty" Hamm Finch, 85 of Brisbin, passed away peacefully Saturday April 1,2023 at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.

Prior to moving to Brisbin, she lived in Smokerun for forty five years.

She was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen Hamm, born June 6,1937 in Glenn Richey. 

She graduated from Madera High School in 1955.

She was a "domestic engineer" and made the best chocolate chip cookies and homemade bread.

She donated many historical articles and antique items to the Clearfield Historical Society.

One of her favorite pastimes was playing cards-500 rummy.

She is survived by five children; Brenda (Dale) Keith, Barbara (Tom) Kozlosky, Andrew (Kim) Finch, Steve Finch, Ed Jill) Finch, six grandchildren; Jim (Diana) Kozlosky, Bob Kozlosky, Philip Keith, Paul (Libby) Keith, Jenika Finch and Katie Finch, along with two great grandchildren, Natalie and Cameron.  She is also survived by one brother Harry "Skip" Hamm.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, a sister-in-law, Dot Hamm and a nephew Scott Hamm.

There will be no visitation or service. She will be buried in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brisbin.

Arrangements are by the Birger A Freeberg Funeral Home, Houtzdale.
