Obituary

David Patrick Wulderk, 66 of Houtzdale passed away Tuesday August 10, 2021 at his residence.

Born September 17, 1954 in Philipsburg, he was the son of Raymond J. and Patricia (Cotter) Wulderk of Houtzdale.

David was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Osceola Mills where he was a Lector and member of parish council.

He was a 1972 graduate of Moshannon Valley High School and a 1976 graduate of Penn State University.

David was a teacher at Moshannon Valley High School for 36 years and was a substitute teacher at St Francis Catholic School.

He was president of the Clearfield County Historical Club and a member of the Osceola Mills Historical Club.

David was a member of the Houtzdale Lions Club and the Houtzdale Revitalization Assoc.

He was active member and former County Chairman of the Democratic Party.

His true passion was the study and preservation of local history and publishing findings.

Along with his parents, he is survived by a brother Stephen (Lisa) Wulderk of Port Matilda, two nephews, Thomas (Samantha) and Christopher (Laura) Wulderk, two nieces, Kathleen Becker and Heather Johnson, six great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

David was preceded in death by a sister Sandy Bosin.

A visitation will be held Monday August 16, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Osceola Mills from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Father Robert Horgas as celebrant. Masks are required at the church.

Interment will follow in St Lawrence Cemetery, Houtzdale.
