Carol Ann Straubinger, 83 of Beccaria, passed away Sunday March 13,2022 at her home.

Born January 13,1939 in Jersey City, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Cadematori)  Schlenker.

Carol was catholic by faith. She was employed as a registered nurse in Jersey City, New Jersey until her retirement.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and traveling to many different places with her husband. They especially loved spending winters in Florida with many wonderful friends.  She was a spirited fun-loving lady who loved spending time with her family, but her greatest joy was her grandchildren, family meant everything to Carol.

On September 24,1960 in Union City, New Jersey, she married Alfred E. Straubinger , who survives at home.

Along with her husband , she is survived by two daughters; Lisa (Gary) Folmar of Grassflat, Lynn (Joseph) Schaefer of Beccaria and a son Steven (Lisa) Straubinger of Ringwood, New Jersey.

Also surviving are four granddaughters; Colleen, Meaghan, Carolyn, Emily, four grandsons; Joseph, Thomas, Max, Shane, two great granddaughters; Briauna and Charlotte, and sister Janet Harabendian.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 26,2022 at Moshannon Valley Community Church, Ramey at noon. Luncheon to follow service.
