Beverly Jo Marchincin, 92, of Houtzdale passed away peacefully Monday December 21, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born June 5, 1928 in Houtzdale, she was a daughter of the late Joseph T and Bernice (Mayhue) Swidersky.

Beverly was employed by the Moshannon Valley School District as a custodian until her retirement in 1988.

She was a member of Faith United Lutheran Church, Houtzdale.

 Beverly cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed traveling with family and friends to Alaska, Mexico, Texas, Arizona and Florida. 

On October 28,1950, she married John Roland Marchincin, who preceded her in death on August 6, 1963.

She is survived by her five children: John Joseph (Elke) Marchincin of Texas, Ron Lee Marchincin of Baltimore, MD, Jill Layne of Arizona, Jan McCuster of Lancaster, and  Reitus (Mike) Tomko of Houtzdale.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Beverly was the last of her generation.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and three sisters: Gail Sankey, Sitty Misiak, and Reitus Howell.

Due to the continuing COVID 19 pandemic restrictions a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
