Bernard J. Collins, 63, of DuBois, passed away Sunday November 19,2023 at his residence.
Born April 24,1960 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Caroll Edward and Irene (Pokorski) Collins.
Bernard was employed as a baker for the former Baun Baking Co. in Pittsburgh until his retirement.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, coaching little League, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan.
On April 17, 1982, he married Karen (Rhule) Collins, who survives at home.
Bernard is survived by his children; Nicholas Collins and his wife Heather of Byrnedale, Natalie Gallagher and her husband David of Treasure Lake, Dustin Collins and his wife Skyler and Makenzie Briggs and her husband Carson, both of DuBois.
Also surviving are six grandchildren: Avery, Addison, Isolde, Guinevere, Aria and Grayson, along with a sister Debra Miklavic and her husband Ronald of DuBois.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son Bernard Carl Collins.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
